Muscle male physique in monotone

Bearded muscular man in black and white. It's been a while since I did a black and white output. Was trying to do it using a charcoal digital brush I created in Rebelle 5 but can't seem to get it right. And also can't quite remember how to get started without applying a base color like in tradition painting on paper.. Will definitely need to go back to basic sketching on paper to work on that.
